Feet want freedom; mountains demand proper gear. This vegan hiking boot is designed for both: it has a barefoot fit, an Aquastop membrane and a pronounced tread made for rough terrain.
SUNI means high mountain range in Quechua. A city boulevard is therefore hardly its natural habitat. This technical barefoot hiking boot is ready for rocks, uneven ground and unpredictable weather.
We made the upper from lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabric that helps prevent snagging, while vegan leather panels provide the necessary strength. A rubber rand protects the part of the boot that usually takes the most wear.
An Aquastop membrane works beneath the surface. It keeps moisture out while allowing water vapour to escape.
The metal hooks are not just for show. They let you adjust the boot securely across the instep and around the ankle. The padded collar feels soft and protects against chafing, even if you happen to lose your way.
There is plenty of technical detail here, but it is still barefoot. The fit gives your feet room and freedom to move naturally – so even high in the mountains, you can follow your own path. Underfoot, the Neo Grip sole with its pronounced trekking tread keeps your step steady. SUNI TRAIL HIGH is also 100% vegan and OEKO-TEX® certified.
Brown feels right at home on the trail. And a few marks from the journey will not make it any less beautiful.
